Shipping Information
Please fill it out completely or
it will cost you both time and money.
Print out the Repair Order authorization
form, fill it out, and ship it with the firearm.
Please call me before you send your firearm in for
work. I like to know it is coming so I can plan my work schedule.
Also, send an email, or call the day you ship it.
Remember to print out a copy of
the
FIREARMS REPAIR
AUTHORIZATION form, fill it out and
pack it in with your firearm.
A detailed parts list must be made or our minimum
labor charge will be assessed for us to make one. We will not be
responsible for missing parts without a parts list. Parts list to
be included with authorization form and firearm.
If you do, I will call the Bureau of Alcohol,
Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) and report it. I do not have a class
3 license.
All customers must
utilize a local (FFL) Federal Firearm Licensee. (any retail store
or pawn shop that sells firearms may perform this service).
The
shipping FFL holder must include a copy of their FFL with an
original signature in ink with the firearm shipment and we must
pre-submit a copy of our FFL license to them prior to shipping the
firearm back to them.

You may ship long guns with any carrier or the US Postal service.
Handguns may not be shipped through the mail.
Firearm must be shipped in a hard sided (Metal, Fiberglass, etc.)
carry case, and then boxed in cardboard.
Do not write on cardboard box (Gun,
Firearm, Weapon or Anything Similar)!
Include the Firearms Repair Authorization
form, and if applicable a parts list.
Pack the firearm in a strong thick cardboard box. If possible put
the firearm in a plastic bag or wrap in plastic. Oil the firearm
liberally first. Pack the spaces with wadded up newspaper. Use
plenty of a strong shipping tape to hold the box together.
Sometimes these parcels get tossed around and the firearm must be
cushioned as much as possible.
Insure the package for it’s replacement value. Usually the first
$100.00 is free and then it’s about $0.35 per $100.00 value.
Have the firearm sent Signature Required.
This ensures the package will not be left leaning on a shipping
dock , but that it is signed for at delivery. When I send your
firearm back, it will be sent Signature Required.
I will not ship to a P.O. Box. I must have a regular street
address for shipment.
